Thomas Laurita

Tom serves as founding CEO of the Danforth Technology Company, a subsidiary of the Danforth Center that spun out Spearhead Bio from the Slotkin lab. Prior to DTC, Tom was founding CEO of NewLeaf Symbiotics, a leading US ag biotech company. He is also co-founder of Enhanced Nature and was CEO of Peptyde Bio at the time it was acquired by Invaio. During his 17 years of residence in Moscow, Russia Tom was Monsanto country lead, and later co-founded Vitas Corporation. He holds a BA degree magna cum laude from Brown University, a MPPM from Yale University, and is the first US citizen to receive a PhD from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
